Q1 was packed with awards, milestones, and impact. See how we started 2025 strong.
From Las Vegas to the home office, Q1 was filled with big wins, meaningful moments, and new milestones for the GROUP Contractors team. We’re proud to highlight just a few things that made the start of 2025 one to remember.
GROUP Wins TWO Excellence in Construction Awards
At the ABC National Convention in Las Vegas, GROUP was presented with an Excellence Eagle Award for H.L. Bourgeois High School Hurricane Ida Repairs and a Pyramid Award for the Energy Transfer Expansion Project.
GROUP Named Top Contractor, Again!
GROUP was named #102 Overall Contractor in the U.S. and #50 General Contractor in the Nation. We’re proud to be recognized again as one of the top-performing contractors in the country.
Supporting Heart Health
We went red for a reason! Our team marked American Heart Month with hard hat stickers, education and trainings, and a company-wide blood drive.
Health Screenings for Our GROUP
95% of our office team participated in heart health screenings provided by Baton Rouge General. Thank you to BRG for partnering with us!
Internal Growth
In January, Hunter Arrighi was named Business Development Manager. Since 2014, Hunter has brought value to every role he’s held at GROUP, and we’re excited for what’s next in his journey.
Women in Construction Week
We proudly celebrated the women who build, lead, and inspire across our organization. Construction is a team effort, and our team is stronger because of the women who are part of it.
Supporting Future Builders
We put on our aprons and sponsored a jambalaya fundraiser for Walker High School’s Wildcat Robotics program. We’re always proud to support the next generation of problem solvers and innovators!
ECC Extra Conference
Hunter, Dustin, and Brandon represented GROUP at ECC Extra 2025 in Austin, where they joined industry leaders to share insights and explore new ways to improve capital project execution.
Shane Reinstated on ABC Pelican’s Board
We were proud to attend the 2025 ABC Pelican Board Installation & Chapter Awards Banquet, where Shane was reinstalled as Vice Chair of Governmental Relations.
