DRILLED AUGER CAST PILES

  • Uses a hollow stem auger that can create a continuous hole without the need for casing
  • Common Uses
    • Support for buildings, bridges and other waterfront structures
    • Provide stability for retaining walls in both temporary and permanent applications
    • Used to stabilize slopes and prevent landslides in hilly or unstable areas

DRILLED HELICAL PILES

  • Installed by rotating the pile into the ground, which minimizes soil disturbance
  • Common Uses
    • Support for buildings in areas with poor soil conditions
    • Supports foundations of cell towers, utility poles, streetlights, and large signs
