GROUP Contractors Received Two National Excellence in Construction Awards
Thank you to ABC National for awarding our team with two National Excellence in Construction Pyramid Awards at the 2023 ABC National Convention for our work completed on the Oak Park Middle School and DOW Plaquemine Eagleray projects!
GROUP Contractors Named to ABC National Top Performer
We’re extremely proud to have been named an ABC National Top Performer for another year. GROUP was ranked #102 Overall and #48 among General Contractors.
GROUP Introduced New Core Value Challenge Coin Initiative
We were excited to introduce our new Core Value Challenge Coin initiative. Inspired by GROUP’s President, Shane Kirkpatrick, and his time spent serving in the military, these challenge coins represent GROUP’s core values and are given to team members who exemplify them.
Shane Kirkpatrick Named LAGC Chapter President
GROUP Contractors President, Shane Kirkpatrick, spent a week in Las Vegas at the National Associated General Contractors of America Convention! Shane is the newest President of the Louisiana chapter of AGC, and he got to spend some quality time with the rest of the Louisiana AGC Delegation at the Shaken, Not Stirred Gala which raised funds to support the future of our industry through a robust scholarship program and innovative projects.

Members of GROUP Contractors’ leadership team spent some time in Vegas at this year’s CONEXPO-CON/AGG! We’re always looking for the newest equipment and learning about new trends…a couple of days in Vegas ain’t bad either! Thanks to Associated General Contractors of America for putting on a great event!
Shane Kirkpatrick Joined ABC Pelican Board of Directors
GROUP Contractors’ President, Shane Kirkpatrick, was sworn in as a member of the Board of Directors for Pelican Chapter Associated Builders & Contractors.
Shane Kirkpatrick Celebrated 25 Years with GROUP Contractors
We celebrated Shane Kirkpatrick on his 25th anniversary with GROUP Contractors. Shane selflessly served our country in the U.S. Army before joining GROUP as an intern. He quickly moved his way up the ladder to Superintendent, Project Manager, Operations Manager, and eventually President of GROUP Contractors.
We appreciate Shane’s hard work, and we look forward to many more years with him as our leader!

GROUP Contractors’ President, Shane Kirkpatrick, was named to a three-year term on the Baton Rouge General Foundation Board of Governors.
Todd Shiflett & Hunter Arrighi Named ECC Future Leaders
Our own Todd Shiflett and Hunter Arrighi were named ECC Future Leaders! Todd entered his third year in the program, and Hunter was newly accepted. Through this program, Todd and Hunter enter into the industry’s biggest conversations and collaborate with fellow professionals in the construction industry.
