GROUP Wins Two ABC Excellence Awards

GROUP Contractors was honored to attend the ABC National Convention in Las Vegas, where we received two ABC Pelican Excellence in Construction Awards. These awards recognized our team’s dedication to delivering top-quality construction projects that make a lasting impact.
Excellence Eagle Award – H.L. Bourgeois High School Hurricane Ida Repairs
After Hurricane Ida in 2021, we worked quickly to restore H.L. Bourgeois High School, handling roof repairs, interior updates, and a complete overhaul of the 10,000 square-foot auditorium. This award celebrates our commitment to community recovery and resilience.
Pyramid Award – Energy Transfer Expansion Project
We successfully expanded critical energy infrastructure for Energy Transfer. We efficiently managed the pile-driving phase through effective planning and coordination and expanded the project scope to include ACIP piles. We maintained exceptional quality and safety throughout, working 33,618 man-hours without incident.
These awards are a testament to our team’s dedication to quality, safety, and teamwork.
